Audio Clean-Up and Mixing
A Before-After demonstration of preparing a cohesive video with multiple interviews in noisy locations. Tasks include:
- noise reduction/clean-up
- audio editing
- sound mixing
Each interview is recorded on location in areas with running vehicles, generators, buzzing and hums. The first task is to reduce the background noise while retaining the clarity of the speakers. To achieve clear audio different noise reduction and audio clean-up techniques are applied.
The dialog is edited to remove unwanted sounds and improve intelligibility. The level of all dialog is carefully evened for a consistent sound with smooth transitions between subjects and locations.
The final step is to mix the interviews with music for clear and inviting audio that smoothly takes the viewer through the video.
