A documentary by Y. David Chung and Matt Dibble that tells the story of Koreans living in the harsh steppe country of Kazakhstan. Koryo Saram won the Best Documentary Award at the 2007 Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival.

The project consisted of multiple interviews in different settings with a variety of audio issues requiring careful clean up and noise reduction. Additional tasks included adding subtle sound effects to archival footage and editing of the music score.
